I am an enthusiastic and thoughtful designer with a focus on creating impact through the practices of graphic design, architecture, and critical discourse. My approach to my work begins with a large heart, a sense of humor, and an open-mind.
I am currently a graduate student candidate for a dual Master of Architecture & Master of Arts in Design Criticism at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC, 2019). She is a Research Assistant for UIC under Marcia Lausen and Bob Somol, working to develop environmental graphics and signage projects campus-wide. In addition, Jamie is a recipient of the UIC Chancellor's Graduate Scholarship in support of her position as an Exhibition Research Intern at the Art Institute of Chicago's Architecture and Design Department under Zoe Ryan. She serves on the Exhibition and Administrative Committees of the Chicago Design Museum, and prior to graduate school worked as an environmental graphic designer at Selbert Perkins Design.
